This week will mark Emma’s return to competition, as the FEI has lifted its temporary suspension that followed a positive test on hydrochlorothiazide* last year. Emma traced the positive test back to a food supplement that she had been using. The supplement was labelled and sold as 100% natural, leaving Emma victim to false advertising.
While Emma has been side-lined, her trainer Vincent Voorn has kept the horses ticking over.
Putting this tough time behind her, Emma will now focus fully towards the Olympic Games in Tokyo next year. Her first stop for the 2020-season will be the CSI2* show in Lier running from 2-5 July.
